Description

Day 1 Hereford to Holme Lacy

Launching from Hereford the river winds its way through the countryside for 8 miles until the confluence of the River Lugg on the left then shortly after you pass underneath the Holme Lacy Bridge and you will see Lucksall Caravan Park. There are 2 floating pontoons, exit the river at the first pontoon and report to reception.

Day 2 Holme Lacy to Hoarwithy

Launching from Lucksall Camp Site at Holme Lacy, this is a very quiet stretch of water and you will meander down a beautiful stretch of the River Wye, through Carey Islands and through a demolished railway bridge. This is your signpost that your now 2 miles from the village of Hoarwith, Tresseck Farm Campsite on the right

Day 3 Hoarwithy to Ross-on-Wye

Launching from Tresseck Farm Camp Site at Hoarwithy, passing Fawley Chapel, How Caple, Under Foy Bridge, Between Backney Bridge and Approaching Ross on Wye. Stop over in Ross

Day 4 Ross on Wye to Symonds Yat West

Launching from Ross on Wye, under Wilton bridge, passing Goodrich Castle on right hand bank,under Kerne Bridge, first egress point 500 yards after Kerne Bridge, picnic/pub stop,public toilets, carrying on through Lower Lydbrook, another picnic stop on left, past Welsh Bicnor YHA, passing underneath Symonds Yat Rock, Under Huntsham Bridge, past River Wye Caravan and Camping Park and finishing approx 300 yards down river at The Paddocks Hotel Field
